This unit is in what was formerly a cottages resort that had been family owned since 1959. This cottage is now a condo, but the family still owns some of the other units and handles those rentals. The cottage is fully furnished, there is a covered grill, 14 foot aluminum boat and two sit on top kayaks for your use. It has a gradually sloping sandy beach, a swim raft and volleyball net in the water. There are also swings, sand area, and tetherball. Lake Thompson is a 411 acre lake that is deep with well marked shallow spots. It has three islands for exploring.

This cottage is one of six units in Lakeview Cottages Condominium located on the North shore of Lake Thompson. The condominium offers a swing set, tether ball, water volleyball, a swim raft and swim dock for your enjoyment. There is also a shared boat dock with one boat slip per unit. This three bedroom cottage provides sunlit rooms with great views of Lake Thompson from the living room and eat-in kitchen. The kitchen has a full size gas range and full size refrigerator as well as a microwave, toaster, coffee pot and crock pot. All pots, pans, dishes and utensils you should need are provided. The cottage has one modern bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Their are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. An outdoor picnic table, kettle BBQ grill and a14' aluminum row boat are provided with this cottage. I offer a 6hp boat motor rental, as well as kayak and paddle board rentals. Lake Thompson is a 400+ acre lake offering plenty of room for fishing, playing, exploring and relaxing. Fish for perch, bluegills and crappies along with bass, walleye and musky! This cottage is located under three miles from the City of Rhinelander offering convenience to shopping, restaurants, churches and more.

The Great Room encompasses the kitchen with 10’ island and 6 bar stools, dining table that seats 10 and large gathering area in front of the fireplace. Kitchen includes a Keurig, Mr. Coffee, microwave, double oven, blender with food processor, stainless steel French door refrigerator/freezer, plenty of wine, beer, margarita, martini, rocks and highball glasses. For those that want to cook, pots, pans, bake ware, flatware, plates, bowls and serving dishes are included. The dining room features a long wood table with 2 benches and 2 chairs that will seat 10 overlooking the outdoor deck and the lake. The large gathering room highlighting a gas field stone fireplace that will warm you up on the cooler nights. 2 full size power reclining sofas and 2 comfy chairs for relaxing after a long day of fun on the lake. For those that enjoy music a Bluetooth enabled stereo receiver with 4 speakers inside and 1 outside. Master bedroom offers a king size bed with a fluffy duvet to snuggle in, large walk in closet and 50” smart TV. Off the bedroom is the master bath with stand alone shower and Jacuzzi tub. Second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. There is a den that has a 43” smart TV, convertible sofa (double bed) along with reading chair and ottoman. Downstairs offers a large TV/game room with another gas fireplace, 65” smart TV, DVD player, sofa, love seat, high top table with 8 chairs and round poker table that has 4 additional leaves and 8 chairs. Games, books, puzzles and a "foosball" table are part of this downstairs walk out. A full bathroom and 2 more bedrooms are downstairs. The first bedroom offers another king bed and crib (can be stored if not needed) and the second bedroom has a queen bed and 1 twin bunk bed set that sleeps 2. The outside upper level deck and screened in porch offer dining and additional seating areas to watch the sunset and listen to nature. For fun, we offer 4 adult kayaks, 2 children kayaks, (along with paddles and PFD’s), fishing poles, basketball hoop with basketball, corn hole game, and frisbees. There is a 90’ dock to moor your boat (you can rent one at Shoeder's Marine), or cast your line for fishing. In the front yard a classic tree house for the kids to play. Inside the tree house are 2 hammocks and small table with chairs. After a day of fun, relax by the fire pit at the lake shore with plenty of firewood, sticks for roasting marshmallows and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the North Woods experience. We have spaced our reservations so there is a vacant day between rentals. This will give us time to follow CDC Covid-19 cleaning protocols.

There is a full size refrigerator and gas stove/oven. A charcoal grill is also included! The unit includes all high-quality linens and towels, and has a flat screen TV and DVD player. Take a morning or evening walk in the quiet, residential neighborhood surrounded by towering pines. Bike riding is great in our neighborhood as well. You will see an abundance of birds, chipmunks and even deer. Your only job is to relax in the Northwoods. This cabin isn't big and is reminiscent of the fishing cabins from the bygone era, but is furnished in true Northwoods style and has the best sandy frontage that you won't simply find at other places now days.

The fall colors are in full view across the river for weeks during Autumn. Visiting the local farmer's market, Flea Markets or antiquing around town are favorite fall pastimes. Hiking and biking are popular from Spring-Autumn. Camp 10 Ski Resort with downhill, cross country, and snowshoeing areas can be found only 6 miles/11 minutes away. After you come back from your winter sports, relax and warm up in front of the fireplace. Our kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking and baking needs. A large ice maker, a crockpot and a 6 quart Instant Pot are extras kitchen helpers that will assist you in providing cold beverage and hot meals for your family in less time. The perfect private rental for: family trips, golf outings, vacation get-a-ways, and 4 wheeling. We have summer rentals available at our amazing vacation home near Rhinelander, Wisconsin. On the first floor is a bedroom with 1 queen sized bed, 1 queen futon with one single bunk bed and 1 full bath. Also the kitchen, dining room, and living room are openly laid out and picture windows provide amazing views of the lake. The dining room and living room have pine paneled walls and vaulted ceilings. There is a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the living room. On the bottom floor are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and 2 singles, the other has a queen bed and 1 single and another bathroom with shower. There is also a mud room with a queen futon. Outside there is a patio and a deck. A gradually declining slope with stairs, leads down to the water front. The Lake is spring fed and crystal clear. The beach is all sand with a small slope into the water, perfect for kids of all ages. Loons, eagles and Blue herons are sighted frequently in front of the property. For the outdoors man, the fishing on the lake includes Small and Large Mouth Bass, Northern, Walleye, and pan fish.. One paddle boat and two kayaks are included in the rental. There is also a dock for your use if you bring a boat. Nearby Rhinelander offers a variety of family restaurants, local bars and pubs, grocery stores, and convenience stores.
